Well I've finished the Watchmen comic. Spoiler start I wasn't that impressed with the ending to be honest but it was clever and unexpected. Spoiler end Rorschach is my favourite character. It may seem weird considering I am a girl. He maybe a unkempt psycho path to some people, maybe even disturbing and sickening but looks are deceiving. He's true to himself, honest and smart (to a degree). What's more, he makes a great pair with Nite Owl II. If you have heard, they'll be appearing in a video game together called Watchmen: The End Is Nigh which takes place before the Watchmen comics. I'm really looking forward to playing it. Hoping I will get to play it on PS3. Keeping my fingers crossed as the screenshots look promising. I have high expectations. I've preordered a Rorschach figure (movie merchandise) for only £9.99. Can't really tell how good it is at the moment as I haven't seen any high quality images to be able to tell. I'm really excited about the film releasing in March. I heard that the ending is going to be slightly different. The trailer looks amazing. If you haven't read Watchmen, you still have chance to. It's a great read.
Been preparing to create some basic stuff on my website for my Nabaztag. Whenever someone comments on my blog I will receive a message and also when someone sends a message via my Nabaztag form. If all goes well, I want to also create a desktop application either using Adobe AIR or as a KDE4 widget. Probably just be some choreographies for now, until I can think of some cool stuff to do. The Nabaztag has been lacking love lately, so it looks like I'll have to give him some attention. Anyone got any cool ideas they would like to see for the Nabaztag? Let me know.
I finally got round to sorting out Japanese input on Kubuntu. If you read my Twitter, you may know that I got it working. よし! I use SKIM with the Anthy package. Used it before but can't remember which distro I was using. Might have been Debian. It's a awesome, easy to use tool and works really well. Rather than typing out Romaji, I would like to type in Kana directly on the keyboard but don't know where all the keys are. Don't fancy putting stickers over my laptop keys, or at least not yet. The stickers themselves are not too cheap either.
